Present in at least 40% concentration in our Extra-Strength Cream, this concentrated extract is our primary active ingredient. It’s made from wild North Atlantic bladderwrack, a brown seaweed that grows along rocky shorelines. Naturally rich in marine polysaccharides, minerals and polyphenolic compounds, our bladderwrack extract has demonstrated antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity in in vitro laboratory testing. In 7 Fathoms formulations, it helps support hydration and the skin’s moisture barrier while soothing and comforting dry, sensitive and reactive-looking skin. It helps improve the appearance of visible redness, dryness and flaking, supporting skin that looks calmer, healthier and more balanced.

Sourced from British Columbia, this mineral-rich clay material is found in the Replenish Treatment Mask. Sea silt gives the formula its mineral-clay character and helps absorb excess surface oils and impurities while providing a smooth, short-contact treatment experience.
